About this event

The Ladies that UX Mentorship is a program designed to promote women in design roles such as UX design, product design, service design through formal one-to-one mentorship.

Powered by Ladies that UX Dublin its partner, Harvey Nash, the program is launching the first cohort on May 27th.

We have invited 15 superstar mentors to mentor women in their journey to UX in 2020.

Having started in Amsterdam as a response to the lack of women in technology roles, The Dublin chapter is launching its own program segmented in the four areas:

  • User Experience
  • Visual Design
  • Leadership
  • Project Management

Sketch Licenses giveaway.

We'll be giving away 2 sketches licenses during our launch event to our participants, one for the general public and one for one of our mentees.

Overall experience

Each mentor-mentee pair will focus on an issue or project proposed by the mentee in her application. Upon discussing, a project that represents a significant and meaningful part of the mentee’s professional development is ascertained and a game-plan is devised to achieve the same.

Duration of the programme

The programme has been designed keeping in mind the time limitations of senior leaders. Apart from a launch event and the follow-up event at the end of the program, each mentor-mentee pair is required to meet for half an hour at least twice over the 3-month duration of the project.

The meetings will be scheduled at mutually practical times.
