Workshops:
One Good Adult - Jigsaw
The presence of one good adult in a young person’s life has a positive influence on their mental health. Be it a parent, teacher, football coach or school bus driver, we all have a role in supporting the young people around us. This workshop is for adults who work with young people in various settings.
Tools you can use to see and share project impact - Léargas
This workshop takes a closer look at practical tools that can help you track the impact of your project, and share the results with others. We’ll focus on free, online tools for: designing indicators; creating and analysing surveys; sending newsletters; creating logos; sourcing photos and icons; and more. We’ll hear from current project coordinators and look at examples.
European Solidarity Corps Launch - Léargas
The European Solidarity Corps builds on the achievements of more than 25 years of the European support for young people and especially on the success of the European Voluntary Service.
This workshop will formally launch the European Solidarity Corps while acknowledging and celebrating the great work that has been done in youth mobility under previous programmes. We will explore the new opportunities (Volunteering, Jobs and Traineeships ) that the European Solidarity Corps offers young people (18-30) and organisations.
Turning Spaces to Learning Places; the possibilities of real niche-learning in education - Conor Galvin
Classrooms and even schools do not have a monopoly on learning spaces. The world teems with wonders and opportunities for doing, making, and thinking in and through niche spaces. It also offers multiple ways of engaging spaces in support of deeper learning. In this workshop we explore examples of places and spaces that help learning to happen. It's all a bit hands-on so be prepared to help move stuff about, if necessary.
