The lush surrounds of the National Botanic Gardens provide the magical setting for a highly anticipated return to DICMF by the magnetic Leonkoro Quartet.
Founded in 2019 in Berlin, in 2022 the Quartet garnered a series of prestigious accolades – including First Prize at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition, solidifying their place among the most celebrated ensembles of their generation. Since then the Leonkoro Quartet’s career rise has been nothing short of meteoric with sensational débuts and critically-acclaimed performances in prestigious venues including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, London’s Wigmore Hall and the Konzerthaus Wien.
Music by Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn and the Dutch composer and pianist, Henriëtte Bosmans, performed by these exceptional artists guarantees a rousing and exhilarating conclusion to the 2026 Dublin International Chamber Music Festival.
