Lewis Barfoot Band at SIRIUS

Lewis Barfoot is an Irish/English singer-songwriter based in County Cork. She blends ethereal, evocative vocals with original compositions and reinventions of traditional songs. Jackie Hayden, from Hot Press, comments, referring to her debut record, Glenaphuca: “Barfoot’s voice and deft guitar work blend magically to create an album to curl up with and be thankful for.”

In 2023, Lewis debuted her newest album, HOME, partly written while in residency at SIRIUS in 2021-22. HOME welcomes a beautiful rhythm section to her folk palette, and her voice reaches new depths of beauty, enveloping listeners in a timeless and enchanting atmosphere.

At SIRIUS, Lewis and her band present a setlist of songs from her past repertoire, creating a lively evening fusing storytelling, haunting melodies, and soul-stirring lyrics that hold the power to heal wounds and experience euphoric feelings.

The band includes Jordi Sanchez Campanario (ukulele and percussion), Jasper Coultis (clarinet and backing vocals), and Edel Sullivan (violin).
