Enjoy a variety of outdoor yoga with Michelle Hegarty, a delicious homemade vegetarian lunch by Claire Kennan from Lough Hyne Cottage and a sauna & swim in the magical salt water lake Lough Hyne.
Take time to move & breath, detox & nourish yourself in a stunning location, absorbing all that nature has to give.
We will gather initially at Lough Hyne Cottage for a grounding & connecting Hatha Yoga practice. After this we will have an hour to enjoy the sauna / swim. Sooth your muscles with the contrast of the penetrating heat of the sauna & refreshing cold waters of the salt water lake. Having worked up an appetite over the morning we will feast on a delicious homemade vegetarian lunch & close our day with a slower paced deeply nourishing yoga session, giving ourselves a bit of time at the end to let everything settle into the body.
Michelle has been teaching yoga locally and online for the last 6 years & is trained in Hatha, Yin & Chair yoga. Michelle puts a lot of focus on breath lead practice, gently easing people into positions, offering adjustments & challenges to suit different body types.
Claire is focused on sustainable growing & living, and has a talent of making delicious vegetarian meals from scratch. On the farm Claire and her family produce an array of different vegetables, they harvest their own honey, bake high quality sourdough bread in an outdoor wood fired oven & have fresh free range eggs daily. She also provides vegetables to many of the local restaurants.
Please plan on arriving at lough Hyne by about 20 minutes before scheduled start to allow time to park & walk up to the house which is about 10 mins walk.
Tickets for this event are €65, €20 non-refundable deposit due at booking to secure your spot & the balance of €45 on the day.
