We've teamed up with the lovely people at Franciscan Well and came up with a gastro pub trail that will give you a seriously enjoyable feed, but there's a catch – it's very exclusive! 
How does this sound? Three venues, three different dishes and an evening of good chat, excellent food, beer and (most excitingly) you will only share the whole experience with 30 other people. 
You'll meet your hosts at 2.55pm at St. George's Arcade, to kick off your tour. Guests will have food guides talk them through the culinary delights offered by Dublin, and will be brought to some top restaurants to sample food and delicious Franciscan Well beverages, as well as learning some little known facts about our fair city (and beer!) as they go. As well as your lovely guides, beer sommelier Des McCann will be on hand to answer any questions you have about beer and the craft that goes in to brewing Franciscan Well. 
Franciscan Well have picked up numerous awards and accolades over the years, having won over 30 awards since 2013, and winning the best Seasonal Pale Ale in the World Beer Awards 2015 – so they must be doing something right. Their beer sommelier Des McCann will also be at these events to talk about the drinks and food pairings on offer, as well as answer any questions you may have. 
So let's get down to the important information... You will be split into two groups of 15 people for the first two venues, to really get the personal touch from your guides. You'll then join the other group at the last venue.
The tour will kick off at 3pm at the George's Street entrance of St. George's Arcade (but we advise you arrive 10 minutes beforehand!) the first group will start in the Market Bar, where you'll be treated to chicken and chorizo skewers and Market Bar house nachos, paired with a Franciscan Well Friar Weisse beer. Meanwhile, group 2 will kick off in Rag Trader. 
For group one, Rag Trader is up next, where you can tuck into smoked salmon, cured parma ham, brie cheese, black pudding, apple purée, and pair it with selections of breads, as well as a Franciscan Well Chieftain IPA. Meanwhile, group 2 will head on over to Market Bar - you see where this is going! 
You'll all regroup at 37 Dawson Street at around 5.15pm, and enjoy a raspberry cheesecake, paired with Rebel Red Ale.
