LSC Recreate Workshop at 4pm

As part of Engineers Week LSC are hosting two Recreate Workshops to release the creative, innovative and inventive potential of children in the community.

The event is FREE to girls and boys in 5th & 6th class primary school.

Each workshop will last 90 minutes where your child will work as part of a team using recycled materials to build a car, aeroplane or robot.(max capacity of 25 children per workshop).

Event Background details:
Engineers week 2017 is running from the 4th to the 10th of March and is a week-long programme of nationwide events celebrating the world of engineering in Ireland. The aim of the week is to create a positive awareness of and spark enthusiasm about the engineering profession among young people with little or no engineering background.

As a company founded by and staffed with Engineers (and Scientists) we are delighted to be holding a fun and creative event which will allow children to explore their creative side and develop an understanding for the potential of STEM as a subject choice at second level, while also promoting engineering as a career choice. There will be a professional creative artist on the day to facilitate the workshop and ensure the children have a great time!
