Join Joyce Fitzpatrick, artist and nature therapist, to explore the biodiversity of Fernhill Park and Gardens in this interactive nature walk. We invite participants (age 6+), and their families, to take a nature walk around this beautiful place, gathering natural materials and stories along the way. To end we will review our materials and create a large scale nature-based collage to leave on the grounds and build up over the day. Workshops will run for 50 minutes.
We can’t predict the weather, so please make sure to dress appropriately for being outdoors.
Pre-booking is necessary as numbers are limited, please only book a place for children aged 6+ (grown ups and younger siblings can join on the day as well).
We will meet outside Fernhill House.
Parking is limited at Fernhill park and gardens, and we ask participants if possible to travel by public transport (bus routes 47 and 44 stop nearby), to walk or to cycle.
