9.30am sharp depart from cobh on spike Island ferry (This ferry departs at 9.30am and we cannot hold it as it is running for other groups also. Advisable to be on the pier by 9.15am at the latest.

10:00: Programme commences: Handling Probation and performance reviews

10:45: Managing Investigation and Disciplinary processes

11.30-11.45: Break for tea and coffee

11.45- 12.30: Absence Management- The do's and don't

12:30- 13:00 Managing difficult conversations

13:00-13:45 Horizon Scanning- Employment Law briefing whats coming

13:45- 14:30 Lunch at the spike Island Cafe

14:30-15:30 Behind the Scenes Tour

16:00 Ferry returns to Cobh

Location: As you stand facing the Titanic Museum, The pier is to the left of the Titanic museum. You will need to ensure your car is parked in a suitable place if leaving your car in cobh and that where required, on street parking tickets are displayed.

Accessibility: You will be travelling to the island on a ten minute ferry so suitable footwear and weather wear is advisable. There will be limited transport at the ferry to bring people to the venue where required, but otherwise the group will walk the 10 minute walk to the training venue.

The training venue is on a first floor building and is not wheelchair accessible as there are no lifts.

Please be aware that this is an old building and it was a prison so it will not feel like a 5 star hotel but that is the point!

Lunch is provided in the spike island cafe and there will be teas and coffees provided at the morning break.

Lunch followed by a behind the scnes tour is included. The training session will conclude at 1.45 you will then have lunch and from there will be taken on a behind the scnes tour before returning for your ferry at 4pm.
