In our research 54% of employees said they’d take a pay cut to work somewhere more family friendly. Many individuals are now reassessing how they work and are looking for organisations where they can do fulfilling work and have quality family time.

We know that on average 55% of an organisations workforce will be parents, with up to 90% already parents, or hoping to be in the future. Families come in many shapes and sizes, and there are many paths to parenthood. Supporting these individuals at work isn’t just the right thing to do, it makes commercial sense – helping organisations attract and retain talent.

This workshop is for Managers who have parents, or soon-to-be parents, on their team. We know from our research at Platform55 that over 60% of managers aren’t sure how to support parents through their leave, and this rises to 80% when discussing topics such as fertility and miscarriage.

• Equips managers with the skills to have conversation around modern parenting challenges, including having empathetic conversations about fertility and miscarriage.
• Explores how we can ensure we’re being fair to everyone in the team, regardless of their personal circumstances.

After the session you’ll receive a workbook crammed full of information, an easy-to-use checklist to keep you on track and a Certificate of Completion. You can share this Certificate on your social networks to show that you’ve undertaken this training, plus the course has been accredited for CPD hours.
