About this event

Join us and Lord Mayor of Dublin Caroline Conroy to celebrate International Volunteer Manager's Day at an event on Thursday November 3rd.

Dublin City Volunteer Centre is inviting Volunteer Coordinators to network and celebrate the diverse range of backgrounds that volunteer leaders come from. We are made up of people from all walks of life, with different cultural backgrounds and perspectives – this is our strength.

Get some updates from the Volunteer Centre and enjoy a panel discussion to learn more about your fellow Coordinators.

It would be great to see you in person!

In advance, we’d love to learn a bit about your background, could you answer just one question and tell us: What you did before you were a Volunteer Coordinator.

Dublin City Volunteer Managers Network

The Network is an opportunity to meet like-minded volunteer coordinators, exchange experiences, seek advice and ultimately help you build and maintain a high quality volunteer programme.

Volunteer management can be very rewarding and hugely beneficial for the wider community, but we also know that there are plenty of challenges volunteer managers have to face on a daily basis. The Network is a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where you can openly talk about volunteer management and get ideas from ourselves and other volunteer coordinators.

What you can expect:

  1. Opportunity to meet other Volunteer Managers and hear about their experiences
  2. Get some creative ideas on how to make your volunteer programme even better
  3. Meet the Volunteer Centre team and find out about the services we offer
