Join us in the Consulate's new offices on the morning of 5 March for the next instalment of our breakfast networking series, when we will be joined by Irish historian, Dr. Martin O'Donoghue.
Dr. Martin O’Donoghue is a historian and researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory where he researches the history of parliament in Ireland and India. He is the author of The Legacy of the Irish Parliamentary Party in Independent Ireland, 1922-1949, which was awarded the NUI Publication Prize in Irish History in 2020, and with Emer Purcell, editor of John Redmond and Irish Parliamentary Traditions published in 2024. He holds a PhD from the University of Galway and he has previously taught at universities in Ireland and Britain.
These events will take place on the first Thursday of every month, bringing together the Irish and international communities here in Frankfurt to catch up on the latest news in the city, from the Consulate and the Irish community. All are welcome, including those who are visiting or have just arrived in Frankfurt!
We look forward to chatting with old friends and new over coffee and breakfast at our new home in Neue Mainzer Strasse 1. Admission is from 7:45 and the event will begin at 8:00.
