About this Event
This foundational Mindfulness Based Living Course, (MBLC) is firmly rooted in kindness and compassion. It is being run for the LGBTQI community in its widest sense, especially for those who may have been finding life particularly challenging of late, due to the current Covid pandemic. Mindfulness is clinically and scientifically proven to be of signifcant help in understanding and relieving stress, anxiety and depression - frequently closely related to our sense of self and 'others.' This initial session explains the key purpose and content of the forthcoming 8 x 2hr weekly sessions, while inviting discussion and questions. A short, guided mindfulness meditation also features.
