About this event

We are delighted to announce our next Montenote Wine Club event…. An Invitational Dinner & Wine Pairing on Monday 29th April 2024 at The Montenotte. This is an exclusive dining event, if you are intrigued by the notion of sustainable dining, a focus on low waste, nose to tail, root to tip and farm to fork then this event is just what you need in our private dining room, The Gallery Suite.

You will enjoy a 7-course Tasting Menu paired with a magnificent selection of natural wines from around the world specifically curated by our Director of Food & Beverage Sara Chapla. This will be a stylish evening with insights and perspectives from our Executive Head Chef Rudi Liebenberg. Rudi is passionate about sustainability and is renowned for his conscious approach to cooking. His Wasted! Menu at the Belmond Mount Nelson in Cape Town incorporated every part of produce to create a five-course lunch menu full of exciting dishes. As well focusing on good relationships with local suppliers to ensure the best quality of seasonal produce, Rudi continues his mission that all food waste is kept to an absolute minimum, or where possible, avoided completely. This approach is reflected within his menus here at The Montenotte.

Guests will enjoy a zero waste sustainable Gin cocktail reception on arrival from 6.30pm followed by a 7-Course Tasting Menu and paired natural wines.
