About this event

Get ready for a high-energy takeover as Hen's Teeth invites Moving Still to debut his new event series, Sukar! Translating from Arabic to "sugar", the debut of Sukar promises a sweet escape into a sugary world of rhythm and flavour. For the first edition, Sukar invites Arabesque Events to collaborate at Hen's Teeth for an evening which celebrates community and culture. To kick off the event, we have a specially curated menu by Palestinian Chef Mu3taz Aldarabani, featuring the warm flavours of Yemeni and Hijazi cuisine. This will be complemented with a live performance by Orba.

Once your bellies are full, we'll be sweating it off with sets by Arab DJs Moving Still, Manal, and Nora Moon.

This is the first of many, so don't snooze. We promise to have your tummy full and your feet sore. The Sukar Agenda:

6-9 PM: Yemeni Hijazi dinner and a performance by Orba

8 PM - Close: DJ sets from Moving Still, Manal, and Nora Moon
