Music for Summer - County Kildare Orchestra & Guests

County Kildare Orchestra is delighted to present this delightful selection of music for the Summer season

Brendan Kennedy will be the soloist performing Grieg's much loved Piano Concerto in A minor. A graduate of Maynooth University and RIAM, Brendan has peformed in many venues in Ireland and Germany and recently gave a series of all-Rachmaninoff recitals celebrating his 150th anniversary.

We welcome back Emer Barry, Soprano, who has performed with the orchestra previously. On this occasion Emer will perform the vocals for some of Ennio Morricone's famous tunes. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Ecstacy of Gold, Once upon a time in the West, Cinema Paradiso and Deborah's Theme.

The orchestra will also perform Suppé's Light Cavalry Overture and Finlandia by Sibelius.

Parking is available in the college grounds and is free of charge. Enter the South Campus via the white gates at the end of Maynooth Main Street. Follow the driveway immediately to the right to get to the Aula Maxima. There is limited parking beside the Aula. There is extensive parking if you follow the driveway to the left after entering the gates. Follow the signs
