About this event

The symposium is designed to celebrate the work of Catherine Malabou, a famous French philosopher interested in the plasticity of the brain. The symposium brings together scholars from philosophy, the arts, and science to debate cognitive processes in humans and machines. The speakers will consider the differences and similarities between neuro-biological processes and the recent developments of Artificial Intelligence. The symposium anticipates a dialogue between the humanities and the sciences in further advancing an exciting new field of Neurohumanities.
