New Life Scripts Workshop: creating theatre for personal transformation.

Over the past five years the Law Society of Ireland's Diploma Centre have facilitated a Prison Law Programme as part of our Street Law initiative; following on from our Street Law Prison Programme we are delighted to invite you to take part in our New Life Scripts (NLS) workshop.

New Life Scripts (NLS) speaks through art to the heart and mind of your students and creates a pathway toward positive change. This workshop provides skills and exercises that are research-based and designed to open the closed heart to a place of trust, first trusting self, and then others. And, from that place, a way of looking within for answers, and a way of developing a discipline and structure for change through habits and practices.

Who should attend?

This workshop will benefit those working with incarcerated persons, at-risk youth, people with addictions or those experiencing any kind of life transitions.

Introducing our speaker

Elle Morgan, MMC, professor of Civic Engagement and Public Speaking, Pennsylvania State University, USA.

Elle Morgan, MMC, is on the faculty of Pennsylvania State University, teaching Civic Engagement and Public Speaking. She is also a certified yoga instructor and is the creator and director of ‘The Elements of New Life Scripts’, a one of a kind personal development program which focuses on stress reduction through mindfulness, work/home balance, and life purpose as a guiding principle. With a background in theatre and public speaking, Elle is unique in the field, bringing a special expressiveness to the arena of self-help. Through her ground-breaking ‘Yoga of Public Speaking’ video series, she synthesizes ancient wisdom with current theories in neuroscience and positive psychology to provide a program that meets everyone's need for comfort and joy.New Life Scripts was developed at Diakon Wilderness Center where Elle served as a counselor for adjudicated youth. She currently provides rehabilitative re-entry programs to prisons. Her book ‘The Elements of New Life Scripts’ is available on Amazon.
