A successor to the acclaimed CEO Experiment, who collaborated with legendary American guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel at the peak of their work, provided a welcome new voice to the Irish scene for nearly a decade.
Leopoldo Osio has assembled here an ensemble of players from across the globe – Italian saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi, Spanish drummer Gonzalo Del Val, his long-time collaborator Peter Erdei from Hungary on bass, and virtuosic Cork based trombonist Paul Dunlea in this great new group.
This show is a rare opportunity for the band members to assemble, and will provide them with an opportunity to officially launch an album, which they started working on before the pandemic, but which COVID-19 derailed until recently.
‘Next Experiment’ offer a funky mix of infectious Latin American grooves, jazz, and cool and rhythms.
