About this event

Welcome to the Boyne Valley Trails September Walking Festival.

Ever wanted to try Nordic Walking? This is your chance. Join Nordic Walking Intructor Martina for a 30 minute taster Nordic walking class before your walk. Learn the basics of this particular technique and then embark on a scenic walk along one of Ireland's most breathtaking beaches, stretching from Temonfeckin to Baltray.

Along the way, you'll pass by the shipwreck of an Irish trader that ran aground in 1974, adding a touch of historical intrigue to your journey. Continue your stroll towards the stone wall, where you'll be treated to a captivating view of the magnificent River Boyne and across to Mornington beach.

This walk promises not only stunning scenery but also a glimpse into the past.

Please note: This walk will take place over a moderate pace. Walking poles will be provided.
