Oiled Wildlife BASIC Responder Training

The Oiled Wildlife Response Network works as an umbrella group, who's primary objective is to bring together stakeholders to provide a response for wildlife in the event of a serious pollution incident. The aim is to coordinate and effectively utilize resources and expertise from relevant associated organizations.  To work in cooperation under one banner and to maintain internationally recognised standards of animal care.

<h3>Join Irelands team of Oiled Wildlife Responders and learn how to care for wild birds affected by an Oil Spill.  </h3>May 21st 2022 - Athlone Join members of the Oiled Wildlife Response Network and learn the key steps required to mobilise a first response for wildlife in the event of an oil spill.The purpose of the event is to train volunteers to <a href="https://eurowa.eu/our-work/training-2/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EUROWA </a>standard BASIC Oiled Wildlife Responder.To be able to respond to wildlife in the event of an oil spill, volunteers will be trained to deal with the first few days of a spill, thus maximising the opportunity for a successful rehabilitation programme leading to survival and release back to the wild for impacted wildlife.For more information contact: info@oiledwildliferesponse.ie or check out the <a href="https://oiledwildliferesponse.ie/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Oiled Wildlife Response Network website. </a><h3>Book a Ticket</h3>The course will take place over one day and will be a mixture of theory and practical skill labs.
