Event description
Are you interested in a small scale biogas plant on your working farm?

About this Event

The Irish Bioenergy Association in conjunction with Teagasc are holding a series of workshops to explore how biogas (anaerobic digestion) can be used to recycle farm wastes and by-products into useful energy and fertiliser. This is an European Innovation Partnership (EIP) project - Small Biogas Demonstration Project, funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) under the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.

We are looking for suitable farms to join the partnership in developing small scale biogas on working farms. This may be of interest to dairy, beef, poultry, pig and tillage farms, as well as having interesting potential for the horticultural sector. If you are interested in finding out more please book into one of our workshops around the country.
