Subject to ethical approval, the group discussions at this event will be recorded using Microsoft Teams software and may be used for research purposes to investigate the challenges and opportunities posed by online assessment. Video recordings will be transcribed without identifiers and securely stored. Video recordings will be destroyed when the research is completed, and the de-identified transcripts will be stored for 10 years and then destroyed. Quotations may be used in relevant publications. In addition, virtual whiteboards may be used and content of these will be de-identified and stored in a similar manner. Care will be taken to ensure that any quotations used will not identify any individuals, specific assessment episodes or institutions. By completing registration and attending the seminar, you are consenting to being recorded in your group discussions and the use of your anonymised quotations. If following the event, you decide that you do not wish your data to be used for research purposes you can contact Catherine Sweeney, c.sweeney@ucc.ie, within 4 weeks of the event to have your data removed.
