Safeguarding 1 - Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Course

All Coaches, Children's Officers and Designated Liaison Persons (DLP) must first complete the 3 hour Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Course. This course educates participants on the implementation of best practice in protecting the welfare of children involved in sport.

Participants must be 18 years or over, however with Parental Consent the age group of 16-17 can attend. Please contact Wicklow LSP before hand.

Please ensure information provided for each attendee is correct for certification purposes.

Please note the name registered MUST be the name of the person to be certified.

Important notice please read:

Tutors will not accept any attendee that signs into the course whilst in a car. No Refund will be issued.

Late arrivals will not be allowed access. No refund will be issued.

Course will commence at 6:30pm sharp.

This is a certified course. Your camera must remain on for the full duration of the session.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund.

Tickets are non-transferrable.
