Important - event is for additional needs families and persons with disabilities.
- 3.5km wheel friendly walk
- walk is free
- litter picking (optional) - all the tools will be provided
- picnic after the walk at Mote Park Cottage (the Irish Girl Guide facility) -please bring your own lunch, tea/coffee will be provided
- outdoor movie for children in attendance (depending on the weather, might be hosted indoors)
- social story, map and checklist provided to ease the planning/preperation (see provided pictures on this event page down below)
Please note a few things -
- take all your sensory coping tools with you, if necessary
- this is an all family inclusive event and we ask that parents/guardians participate and supervise their children during the walk and picnic
Limited places available. Please register in advance to avoid disappointment.
In case of change in circumstances if you cannot attend, please cancel your family ticket. We will enable waitlist so those interested can book your place.
