Description
Our Wicklow Heritage is a one day public event focussing on community archaeology. The event will provide an opportunity to hear about community archaeology and specifically about a range of projects currently taking place in county Wicklow. Mutual issues and challenges faced by groups will be discussed and opportunities available nationally through the Heritage Council’s Adopt a Monument Scheme and through the actions of the County Heritage Plan will be explored.
This public event co-ordinated by the Heritage Office of Wicklow County Council and is co-funded by the Heritage Council as an action of the County Wicklow Heritage Plan. While it is free of charge to attend, places are limited and advance booking is required.
