This masterclass is focused on enhancing your natural management style through the lens of organisational development, coaching psychology and participatory management approaches.


Sile Walsh (www.silewalsh.com) and Thomas McComack (www.tmclifecoach.com) are coming together to combine their skills, knowledge and years of diverse experience to support managers in managing more effectively, playing to their strengths, having more flow in their work and being supported in doing their work in a way that is fulfilling and empowering for them and their teams!

People management involves skills that aren't always aligned with your technical skills or qualifications and might require more of you than you were taught! Often this requires self-awareness, effective communication, psychological safety, self-care, insight into team dynamics, clear boundaries and respectful assertiveness.

We will cover:

  • Approaches to developing accountability among your team
  • Your unique strengths and natural abilities combined with ways to improve your performance as a manager
  • How to harness team dynamics and the organisation's culture
  • Ways to manage conflict and difficult personalities
  • Bringing awareness to the difference between a difficult employee and a triggering one!
  • Ways to take a partnership approach to create a more effective management style
  • Methods to manage effectively and mind yourself in the process.

Lastly but most importantly you will be invited prior to the masterclass and in complete confidentiality to share the most common challenges you face in managing and they will be used to inform the work we do on the day.

  • 5 hour masterclass with peers
  • A 600-word practice reflection piece to be completed within 21 days of the masterclass.
  • A completed professional development plan for the coming 3-6 months.

Sile Walsh HDip, MSc, NUI, MAC Coaching Psychology and Organisational Consultancy.

Sile's formal education includes the HDip in Coaching Psychology and MSc in personal and Management coaching from University College Cork. Alongside additional qualifications in Leadership, Participatory Management and Professional Supervision.

Memberships: Sile is a registered member of the Association of Coaching, a coaching and organisational member of Psychological Society of Ireland and a psychometric tester with the British Psychological Society.

Sile specialises in supporting individuals, teams and organisations in moving forward with clarity and effectiveness; through developing capacity and working with multiple perspectives using participatory, emergent and integrative approaches. Sile is committed to supporting co-developed solutions that are sustainable and sector appropriate.

Sile is experienced working within the areas of organisational development, leadership, culture, organisational strategy, training and facilitation, people performance and employee engagement. Sile has been working with organisations and thought leaders since 2008 across a number of sectors nationally and internationally with clients in the USA, UK and Europe

Sile is passionate about designing, training, supervising and facilitating programs for charities and private organisation that wish to support the well-being and performance of their people using coaching psychology interventions. When appropriate Sile uses participatory action research approach and peer support approaches.

Sile completed her MSc thesis in "Understanding The Barriers and Facilitators to Systemic Psychodynamic Coaching in Organisational Development" with a nod to Dialogical Organisational Development.

Some of the national organisations Sile has worked with include the (HSE) Health Service Executive, (ETB) Educational Training Board, CDYS, Step Out Ireland, Youth Work Ireland and Shine.

Some of the international organisations Sile has worked with include Trend, MERCK, SPIN1038, SOS K9, CAAIT Projects, WingMan, The Good Men Project and Business Balls to mention a few.

Sile assists individuals in addressing areas in which they wish to improve their experience and performance including stress management, relationship development, self-care, conflict resolution, anxiety management and professional development.
