• Saturday 18 April — 10:00–16:30

Create a photographic story and turn it into a printed photo book.

This workshop includes a Friday briefing session and two Saturday working sessions over two weeks. It is designed to move you from single images to a finished photographic story.

About This Workshop

Many people take thousands of photographs, but very few turn them into work that lasts.

This workshop focuses on a different way of creating and presenting photographic work — moving from single images to a photographic story or essay, and finally to a finished photo book.

You will learn how to think in projects, edit with purpose, and shape photographs into a coherent body of work ready for print.

Ask yourself:

  • Do you have many images that never leave your phone or computer?
  • Would you like people to remember your work?
  • Have you ever thought about making your own photo book?

If some of these feel familiar, this workshop is likely a good fit for you.

  • Receive structured guidance across three sessions
  • Learn a practical photo book workflow
  • Edit and sequence your story with feedback
  • Create your photo book using a prepared template

Are you ready to create your story and turn it into a photo book?

If so — that’s exactly what this workshop is for.

During this intensive workshop, you will go on a journey towards creating a photographic story or essay. You will choose your theme, define your approach, and shape your story alongside others through creative discussion and feedback. In the end, your story will become part of a printed collective photo book.

And remember — you don’t need expensive gear or years of experience. You only need the willingness to create with intention.
