Playing with Patterns: Creative Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop linked to the upcoming exhibition Pattern Machines.

Artist Jenny Mc Namara will lead a collage session where you can explore patterns, textures, and colour in playful and experimental ways.

You’ll use Indian ink to paint bold patterns and textures, make sticker collages inspired by your favourite colours and ideas of Shieldfield’s future, and finally combine your ink patterns with photos of local patterns and colourful materials to create a unique final image.

Throughout the session, Jenny will encourage you to take creative risks, experiment with repetition, and play with colour theory to see patterns, colour, and texture in new ways.
