Pond dipping @ Bog of Frogs, Howth

Have you ever wondered about what happens below the surface, in the secret life of ponds? Most people are completely unaware of the many insects and amphibians that breed and live in these environments.

Join Rob Gandola from tehe Herpetological Society of Ireland on a guided walk to see and learn about what lurks in the often-overlooked world of freshwater ponds at the recently restored "Bog of Fogs".

This is an outdoor event, make sure that anyone attending is dressed in warm, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes. Footwear suitable for boggy conditions is ideal. The ground may be uneven and difficult for those with limited mobility.

Car parking is available at the GAA club where it's only a short walk to the Bog of Frogs
