Dublin City Childcare Committee is delighted to facilitate the second Communities of Professional Practice event with Antoinette Coffey Early Years Educator and Wellbeing and Life Coach.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the Early Years sector, Antoinette brings a unique blend of practical expertise with wellbeing and coaching skills to the table.

At this engaging evening get ready to gain invaluable insights and practical strategies to thrive both personally and professionally in the demanding field of early childhood education.

Antoinette's no-nonsense approach and passion for well-being, will help guide participants through interactive discussions aimed at strengthening resilience, explore practical tools to enhance well-being, and tips on how to promote a positive solution focused work environment.


  • What is it?

A community of professional practice is a group of people who share a common profession, meet on a regular basis, hear from an expert, discuss different work topics, reflect on practice and share ideas.


  • Why?

The aim of a community of professional practice is together we learn from each other, share knowledge, create new ideas and improve our work practice. Attending communities of professional practice can be included under option 5 of the Quality Action Plan.


  • Who?

Any early years practitioner who is interested in being a part of professional practice group, wants to enhance their professional development and better outcomes for children and their families. You are very welcome to bring a work buddy too!

We are the first point of contact for anyone seeking advice, information or support in relation to early childhood care and education within Dublin City. Our focus is to develop, support and enhance early childhood services through working proactively with early years providers, parents and related organisations. Our dedicated staff are available to answer queries related to the early years sector.

 

These events are exclusively for practitioners, providers and childminders working in the Dublin City Childcare Committee's catchment area.
