About this event

  • 2 hours

Higher educational institutions are more than just buildings and classrooms; they're spaces where equality, diversity, and queerness can thrive. They serve as vital places of safety, support, and education, providing avenues for individuals and communities to live and grow. Our event is dedicated to showcasing the significance of these educational settings in fostering awareness and acceptance for LGBTQIA+ people.

Through conversation, this event aims to explore the transformative power of higher education settings for empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals and fostering inclusive communities. Join us as we celebrate the role of higher education settings as nurturing grounds for diversity.

The equality, diversity and inclusion committee extend a warm invitation to staff, learners, and visitors beyond the Griffith community to join us. Light refreshments will be served as we come together to celebrate the inclusive spirit of higher education.

We are delighted to welcome the small trans library and LGBT Ireland who will join us at the event.
