The third instalment of the 2024 GP Webinar Series from St Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS) will see some of the team within our SPMHS’ Psychology Department explore psychological therapies for older adult mental health difficulties.

Presented by Dr Karen Looney, Dr Aideen O’Neill and Dr Mairead Losty, this hour-long webinar will discuss:

  • a brief introduction to the evidence base for psychological therapies for older adult mental health difficulties
  • the therapies available within SPMHS which are specifically focused on the needs of older adults
  • the broader offering of psychological therapies for all adult service users, which can also be accessed by older adults.

GPs can submit their questions in advance by emailing communications@stpatricks.ie or during the webinar using the Q&A function on Zoom.

Continious Professional Development (CPD) will be sought for this event. Points available will be confirmed closer to the time of the event.

Please email communications@stpatricks.ie with any querires or accessibility requirements you have for this event.
