She is currently a Jerwood Curatorial Accelerator Fellow (2022-23).

Lauren Gault and Katherine Murphy completed a collaborative residency at TBG+S in the lead up to their exhibition in May 2022. After the exhibition at TBG+S, the project and specific artworks will be re-imagined and relocated to an outdoor, rural location in Scotland. Katherine Murphy was awarded the opportunity to curate this exhibition through an Open Call held by TBG+S in 2021.

She investigates content from archives, mainstream media and local knowledge to explore representation and precarious economies of labour. currently holds a Project Studio at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin (2022/23).
