C﻿rawford Art Gallery is temporarily closed to facilitate necessary redevelopment work.Crawford Art Gallery is one of Ireland’s National Cultural Institutions, charged with the care of over 3,500 diverse artworks from the National Collection, from 18th century Irish and European painting and sculpture, through to contemporary video installations.In 2024, Crawford Art Gallery embarked on an ambitious redevelopment project, Transforming Crawford Art Gallery, to ensure the gallery’s historic buildings in the heart of Cork city are conserved and enhanced for generations to come.From 22 September 2024, Crawford Art Gallery is temporarily closed to the public to facilitate these redevelopment works. Gallery staff continue to work behind the scenes, caring for the collection, organising an offsite programme of Learn & Explore events, and preparing for reopening in 2027.For news and updates on Transforming Crawford Art Gallery, the best way to stay in touch during our closure is by signing up to our newsletter or following our social media accounts.

Crawford Art Gallery

5pm &amp; 7pm 
Capacity: 20 Children 

Puppets will take on the role of tour guides, showing Children around the gallery. Exploring the Meat and Potatoes exhibition, the puppets will talk about some of the artworks, engage the children with stories and create an interactive fun experience for all.

Suitable for ages 6-10

Tours will last 30 minutes

Parental supervision is not necessary, we ask that if you are an accompanying parent only one parent per child attends.
Tickets do not need to be booked for accompanying adults and are only necessary for the Children attending.
