The saga of bhakti and dharma celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It is a story of unwavering faith and unfaltering devotion. It depicts how honesty, loyalty and courage leads to a virtuous and meaningful life.

Join us for RamAyana, a vibrant and engaging workshop where children explore the timeless wisdom, devotion and values of the Ramayana. Children will discover the ideals of bhakti and dharma through the inspiring charactrs of Sri Rama, Hanuman, Lakshmana, Sita devi and many more. The workshop blends traditional storytelling with modern, child friendly engagememt, helping young minds connect ancient teachings to everyday life.

Highlights of the day:

Inspirational talks, Grand Ramayana Quiz, Elocution, Interactive discussions Team activities and drama.

This workshop offers a wonderful opportunity for children in Ireland to connect with cultural roots, grow in character and build friendships in a nurturing community setting.

Elocution topic:

Kids under 10 years - "My favourite Ramayana character"

Kids 10 years and above - "Life lessons from Ramayana that you would like to follow in your day to day life"

Terms & Conditions:

Sanatana Ireland reserves the right to request proof of age if necessary. For the purpose of category placement, a participant's age will be determined by their age on the day of the event, Feb 14th 2026.

Colouring Competition - This is only for kids below 10 years. Kids participating in the Colouring competition should bring their own colouring sets. Only colouring pencils and crayons are allowed. Any other colouring instrument used like sketch pens or oil pastels etc would lead to disqualification of the competition entry. The decision of the panel of judges would be final and binding on all participants and patrons.

Elocution Competition - Last date/time for registration is 5pm on Friday, 13th February 2026. Participating children are requested to memorise and not refer to a book or mobile while rendering their elocution speech. The decision of the panel of judges would be final and binding on all participants and patrons. Elocution competition will have 2 age categories ( less than 10 years and 10 years and above). Maximum time allowed for elocution competition is 2 minutes per participant for kids below 10 years and 3minutes per participant for kids 10 years and above.

Quiz Competition - We have two categories for this competetion, 18 years and above (Adults) and below 18 years (Minors). The questions are purely Ramayana based. Questions for Minors will be from the first 3 Kanda's ( Bala kanda, Aranya Kanda & Ayodhya Kanda) of Balaramayanam. The questions for Adults will be from Ramayana by Rajagopalachari. Pdf versions of same will be circulated to the registered participants for each category. The competetion is designed for teams of three. While we aim for teams of three, Sanatana Ireland reserves the right to adjust team sizes or merge individual registrants into teams based on the final number of registrations to ensure fair play. Please ensure all team members are registered, if registering as an individual, we will do our best to facilitate team placement on the day. The use of mobile phones, smartwatches or any external reference materials during the quiz is strictly prohibited. The Quizmaster's decision is final and binding in all matters related to scoring and results.

Food - Delicious vegetarian lunch would be served ( free for registered participants)and accompanying parent/guardian/family member at a nominal cost of €10. If you have any known food allergies, it is recommended that you inform Sanatana volunteers well in advance. This is for the interest of public health and safety as the event organiser would not be aware of individual food choices, requirements and allergies.

Media & Photography - By attending, participants ( or guardians) consent to Sanatana Irealnd taking photographs or videos during the event for use in future promotional materials, social media and newsletters.

Cancellation & Refunds - Tickets are generally non refundable unless the event is cancelled by theorganisers.
