A free one-day conference on the recent archaeological discoveries at Rathfarnham Castle
In 2014 thousands of artefacts were discovered buried below the southwest tower of Rathfarnham Castle. Over the last two years the finds have been researched by specialists. Their stories revealed intriguing insights into the daily lives of the 17th century household of Adam Loftus, Viscount of Lisburn and his wife Lucy Loftus.
Saturday 10th December 2016
Twenty archaeological specialists will discuss key finds from the excavations over four 90-minute sessions, followed by a question and answer session. Everybody welcome. Full programme at www.archaeologyplan.com.
