Returning to Ireland after living abroad from many years can be both an exciting as well as challenging experience. Some people return in a planned fashion and can manoeuvre the return and resettlement process with ease. However, we know some people return in challenging situations and due to a myriad of reasons, find the return process quite daunting.

We set up the Returned Emigrants Network to act a social hub to promote wellbeing, a chance for returnees to meet up, especially during the early days of return. The Network also addresses some of the challenges and difficulties people have encountered on their return and advocate for change at a policy level.
