We're delighted to hold a special Festive Friends event this year before we finish up for the holidays. See below for a breakdown of the activities.
4.15pm - 5pm : The Backstage Tour of the Abbey Theatre is an opportunity to get up-close with our history, the building, and the design and detail of the Abbey’s current productions. Discover the story and significance of Ireland’s national theatre through their portrait and artwork collection. Explore the Abbey and Peacock theatres, behind-the-scenes of the shows on stage, and the work that takes place in the backstage areas.
5pm - 6.15pm: After the tour we will have a private function with a beautiful selection of food and wine for the Friends to help themselves to in the Abbey Theatre bar .
6.30pm - 7.30pm: The Friends can enjoy showing of award winning play - The Long Christmas Dinner.
