Róisín Curé - Masterclass in Mount Congreve

We will take our watercolours into the exquisite gardens of Mount Congreve and sketch its beautiful flowers in situ. We will use an accessible technique that gives beautiful, fresh results, combining loose brushstrokes of bright colour loosely forming shapes, with dip pen ink lines applied over dry watercolours, to capture the delicate nature of petals and leaves. The results, based on fine observation and drawing accuracy, will appear spontaneous but convincing and fresh and participating artists will leave with the secret to capturing the beauty of flowers unearthed.
