Rough Draft Poetry - Draft 5

Rough Draft Poetry - Draft 5

Swords CastleSwords, Dublin
Sunday, April 26  •  3 PM - 7 PM
Overview

Rough Draft Poetry Presents: Bloom - a gathering exploring seasons of change through poetry, music, and art.

Step into a space where vulnerability meets verse in our growing community.

Join us for an afternoon of raw, unfiltered poetry and experimental art through communal reflections at The Chapel, Swords Castle - a place where every voice matters and every perfectly imperfect draft is worthy.

With our theme of Bloom, we'll explore the often quiet and powerful seasons that shape our ability, and approach to change.

What is change, and why do we need it?

What must happen beneath the surface before a flower opens up to reveal its petals?

What influences a bloom - the darkness in the earth where seeds are planted, the rain that softens the ground, the bees bridging possibilities from one place to another?

Aren't we all flowers in different seasons of our becoming?

Together, we'll reflect on:

How we release the seasons of shedding and loss

What our own season of bloom might look like

How we prepare ourselves gently, and intentionally, to open up again.

Join us from 3pm for some poetry, music, art, and communal reflections as we explore what it means to bloom in our own time.

See you there!
