Occupational Health and Safety Training Course (Safety Officer):

2 Day course 5th and 7th of July

OBJECTIVES:

To equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to carry out risk assessments and implement risk control measures in an office or service environment while under the general direction of a safety specialist. This will be one of the most accurate General Health & Safety Training courses in Ireland, as it has its roots (lesson map & plan) in the HSA guidelines. It is suited for safety representatives, business owners, managers, supervisors, and those responsible for implementing and managing an H&S system. All employers are legally required to identify workplace hazards and assess and control associated risks to workers and others in the workplace.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Course materials: Guardian Safety will provide a training pack and e-resource materials. Assessment: Learning outcomes will be assessed.

Complementary, learners will receive 2 additional courses: Introduction to Risk Assessment & Workplace Health and Safety

Successful candidates will be awarded a Guardian Safety Certificate - pending IIRSM (International Institute of Risk & Safety Management) certification, based on a pass rate of 50%.

It is a 2 day training, 9.30 AM - 5.00 PM. The cost pp is €395.

The Training will run Via Live Videoconference through Zoom.
