Overview

A support group to help you take back control of your smartphone, restore calm, focus and reconnect with yourself.

Welcome to the Scrollers Anonymous Workshop!

Scrollers Anonymous is a support group designed to help you regain control over your digital use and develop a healthier, more intentional relationship with technology. The group is facilitated by our counsellor and digital wellbeing specialist Julie Palcic, founder of The Digital Human.

How does it work?

The Scrollers Anonymous group is made up of 15 participants max, and meets every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm over an 8-week period.

The starting date is the 3rd February 2026 and sessions are held in the Limerick City Build building (V94 D211). The cost for the 8-week course is €100. (+ Booking fees)

During the sessions, we offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which participants feel they can freely share with and learn from each other. The group format provides structure, accountability, and shared momentum to support lasting change.

Together, as we introduce more mindful digital habits in our lives, we also explore :

  • How prolonged and habitual digital use impacts daily life
  • Underlying needs or challenges that influence our scrolling habits
  • Strategies to break unhelpful scrolling habits & reduce time spent online
  • Meaningful ways to use the time and energy reclaimed

The aim is to help you use your smartphone with intention rather than impulse.

Scrollers Anonymous is for anyone who:

  • Is experiencing symptoms of digital burnout
  • Feels their smartphone use is out of control
  • Wants to bring lasting, mindful changes to their digital use
  • Feel unsure about how to start a digital wellbeing journey and/or doesn’t want to do it alone

By attending Scrollers Anonymous, you could also:

  • Improve your focus and attention
  • Feel calmer and mentally less cluttered
  • Rediscover creative thought and daydreaming
  • Enhance the quality of your relationships
  • Feel more rested, energised and grounded

About the facilitator:

Julie Palcic brings a diverse skillset to her work. She is a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, as well as a digital wellbeing specialist. Before moving into the wellbeing field, she spent many years working in sales within large technology multinationals. She has studied a range of subjects, including data analytics, sociology, politics, psychology and philosophy.

Her warm, genuine approach, combined with this breadth of experience and knowledge, makes her a skilled, thoughtful, and engaging facilitator.
