Seán Ronayne, surveying ecologist, is the creator of Irish Wildlife Sounds. His ambition is to record the vocalisations of each regularly occurring bird species in Ireland. This archive, when completed, will serve as an important resource in educating the public on Ireland’s biodiversity. It will also stand, more soberingly, as an account of how many bird species called Ireland home in the opening decades of the 21st century; with his recent appearance on "The Tommy Tiernan Show" Lough Gur is delighted to have Sean share his Journey of the importance of bird sound and future work with the environment.
