The Seattle Grunge Experience is the only tribute act to authentically recreate the live sound of the four biggest Grunge bands in history: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. The early 90s was a great time for music with so many creative, innovative bands breaking out from under the mainstream radar – and seemingly most of them from the Pacific Northwest. That’s where the idea for The Seattle Grunge Experience comes from as these bands, these songs were meant to be heard back to back! The European experience of the genre was largely inspired by repeat plays on MTV where, on any given day, you could watch videos for ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ followed by ‘Even Flow’…‘Black Hole Sun’…’Man In The Box’…’Hunger Strike’...’Come As You Are’...’Alive’…’Would?’… Then you had those seminal MTV Unplugged shows that unveiled this emerging scene as truly affecting for anyone with a television. The Seattle Grunge Experience is not to be missed as they serve up the visceral punk power of Nirvana, the spiritual depth of Pearl Jam, the technical ability of Soundgarden and the fragile, edgy darkness of Alice in Chains. The end result is a musical feast that takes the listener back to the glory days of Grunge. A 2-hour ‘all killer, no filler’ sets in either Electric or Unplugged format (sometimes both!) celebrating the genre at its highest point and appealing to hard-core fans as well as more casual listeners.

All shows are strictly ages 18+ unless stated otherwise. 2 forms of ID may be required (national age card, driver licence, passport - student ID as a 2nd form only). Fraudulent ID or ID not matching the person presenting it will be confiscated, treated as stolen property and issued to the Gardaí.

Unless otherwise stated, all live music shows are standing. There are a small number of tables along the side which are limited & go on a first come first serve basis so we recommend coming early for the best chance of getting a seat. They cannot be booked in advance. Comedy shows are seated events.
We have a wheelchair accessible lift at ground floor to venue level. At venue level there is also a wheelchair accesible toilet.
We are in a pedestrianised zone. The nearest multi-story parking is: Merchants Quay, Grand Parade, Carrolls Quay, Union Quay. There is also limited onstreet parking available on South Mall.
Yes. We do not reserve tickets for sale on the door, so if we've marked it as sold out on the website then it is definitely sold out. Do not purchase tickets from 3rd party sellers as these are often scams.
Generally, photos without flash are fine. Video is generally not allowed.
No – after booking tickets online you'll be sent a confirmation email with a pdf attachment which contains your tickets (or on your Eventbrite app). You will need this in order for us to scan your ticket to gain entry to the show. The QR code on each ticket is unique and will only scan once.
