Dear friends,
You are invited to a singing circle at Lavit Gallery (in Cork City Centre) on Friday 10th May from 18:30-20:30. I would love so much if you could join me in creating a cosy circle at the gallery after hours. We will connect in with our individual voices, before singing together in harmony, and drink herbal tea surrounded by beautiful artwork as the sun sets.
For a long time, I have wanted to run a workshop where I could sing in commmunity in beautiful spaces. When I was Music and Sound Resident at Lavit Gallery last year, I got familiar with the space, it's unique acoustics, and the way that the gallery worked, so it felt like a natural location for us to go.
I would be so delighted if you would join me for this evening of singing and connection. It is a free event, and it will be a creative time for us together to see what emerges in the moment. I have some exercises I want to try out that I'm really curious about, and I would love if you would join me in this exploration.
Please bring a blanket, and/or a yoga mat to sit on and a little pillow to make yourself comfortable on the floor. (There will be a small number of chairs in case anyone needs one).
We will be moving a little too, so please wear something that you feel comfortable in.
