Sinéad Lucey - Masterclass in Mount Congreve

In this oil painting workshop, we will observe and paint the light and textures of the lush locations in the Mount Congreve Gardens. Starting indoors, we will practice drawing/painting from art historical references related to the garden theme of the workshop. Having prepared surfaces to paint on, we will take our paint materials outdoors to paint the garden from life. We will consider how to select a viewpoint, handle in paint foliage textures, and create a balanced composition of darks and lights. All levels welcome. Materials info provided after booking.
