<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">Would you like to be able to tell?</H2>
This two day, citizen science, training programme covers the collection of data on the plants, animals and physical structures of rivers and streams which will enable you to tell just how clean the water is and how healthy the habitat is for fish and other creatures that live in our waterways.
The training is aimed at anglers and other members of the community with an interest in the aquatic environment.
The course will be run on two occasions in Autumn 2018: 27th and 28th Oct or 17th and 18th Nov. It will start at 9am and finish at 5pm each day. There will be some theory sessions indoors and lots of practical outdoor work on the river.
This course is being offered free of charge by the Maigue Rivers Trust thanks to funding from the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and the Community Water Fund (normal cost €250/person)
Booking is essential as places are limited. For further information email info@maigueriverstrust.ie or log onto our website www.maigueriverstrust.ie
