SME Matters is hosting a one-day intensive course for all those individuals, groups or organisations who are interested in improving their negotiating skills.
Negotiation is a part of our everyday life but have you ever really assessed whether you are a good negotiator? Could there be more in it for you if you leave something in it for them?
SME Matters’ Win-Win Negotiation Skills training will show you what to look for and identifying your key strategic objectives. This course can be used by anyone who wants to be more effective in a work or personal capacity.
The levels of skills vary from junior managers dealing with suppliers and clients, to salary negotiations, up to executive and corporate negotiations.

Show you many different techniques that could be used against you

We will also finish off by listing ‘40 Negotiating Tactics to be aware of’
Former journalist and broadcaster Rory Egan will facilitate the course. Having originally trained in Law, Rory’s business background started when he brought Tie Rack into Ireland and became their largest franchisee worldwide. He later set up a made-to-measure shirt business called Custom Store International and grew it to 24 franchises in the UK.
He is Director of Training with Oracle Communications and has worked with many of the most senior people in the Oireachtas, bankers, solicitors, barristers and businessmen and women.

The Win-Win Negotiation programme includes participation wherever possible and a full set of bound notes are provided for all participants. After the course, they will be encouraged to contact the instructor for personal advice if they encounter areas they are uncertain of.
