Overview

Join us for an immersive melting-pot of music, poetry and live painting and more.

Snug Sunday is a soup of the arts where creativity & performance meet the cosiest of living-room vibes, curated by Luc O'Rourke (Wild Notions Events)

You are invited to come as you are on this immersive journey - of Music, Poetry, Live Painting and more, where expression is that of an un-mowed lawn - alive with diversity, color and darkness alike.

We strive, with you, to create a temporary hearth space tender with authenticity care and cosiness enough to nourish you well into the new year.

All funds from ticket sales will be going to Cork Nature Network

Now, let's check out what we have on the line up:

Wild Notions

Weaving songs, stories, poetry & soundscapes Luc O'Rourke's Wild Notions come through as multi-instrumental genre-fluid expressions of the blood & bones of being. With deep nature connection at the hearth, there is in his works a calling towards and claiming of the re-wilding of the land, the community & the self.

Sisters Grit

Sisters Meriel & Aisha Devoy call you on a journey with them over the threshold, into the wave fields of a capella harmonies and gentle acoustics.

They touch on themes of search and longing, for that which man cannot touch. Beigh a ceol lán le crógacht agus misneach.

Dylan Krug

Dylan Krug is a climate researcher with expertise in environmental science and law. Their ecological knowledge inspires their writing, as they attempt to capture personal experience through the language of the more-than-human world.

Aleesha Wiegandt

Where queer joy, creativity, community and global justice meet, don't be surprised if you bump into Aleesha. Poet, facilitator, pleasure activist and collage queen, Leesh dances along the line where creativity meets sustainable and positive change. For Snug Sunday, she will be creating a live art-scape throughout the night, blending the vibes of our shared moments with what lies within.
